Joseph “Joey” Price born and raised in Southeast, Texas. Joey attended Sam Houston State University in Texas on a football scholarship, receiving “all-conference” status and leadership accolades. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Joey embarked on a successful 8-year career in the financial industry. Representing prestigious firms such as; JP Morgan, BNY Melon, United Capital and Sageview Advisory group.

Joey relocated to Southern California in 2010, to find healing and recovery from his own personal experience with addiction. Joey feels an overwhelming conviction to help those in need find what he has found in recovery. Joey genuinely believes “people are happier when they are sober and living a life of purpose”, this knowledge and experience gives him the passion to wake up every day and dedicate his time to helping others.

Joey has worked in mental health and addiction treatment for over a decade and has held various positions, he has found his passion in a leadership role to promote structure and change within the industry to provide the best quality of care to each client and family. Joey currently holds the position of Director at Story Wellness, this position allows him to identify and optimize the quality of care provided at our programs, while building strategic relationships in the Behavioral Health community to better help those in need.

Joey’s unique ability to connect and interact with clients, families and professionals and his desire to create a safe place to promote healing and recovery, makes Joey a valuable part of our team and stand out as a professional in the Behavioral Health community.
